I'm all for baby steps and committing to moving forward an inch at a time, if that is what it takes or if that is what I can do. That is perfectly all right.
But wouldn't you like, in one great leap, to leave behind all that keeps you bound? Wouldn't you like to immediately and permanently shake off your prison of pain and other lack and rise new and free?
That possibility, the reality of that experience, is a hard thing to promise and guarantee because we are all at different points in our life. Sometimes it is hard to say what exactly can become a dramatically healing turning point for ourselves.
But let me share with you a few things that had huge and immediate freeing impact on my life. Perhaps they will have the same power for you.
Cellular cleanse. I was introduced to an herbal product that detoxed my cells in a very short period of time (a week or two). I do not want to turn this post into a promotion for that product. However, there may be several great products and protocols out there that you can research that will have similar results. Clearing my cells of built up poisons changed everything for me. I was released from my fog and from many emotions weighing me down (emotions are chemical). I was released from inflammation such as plugged ears.
Massive nutrition. I found a high-quality food supplement that delivers massive amounts of all the vitamins and minerals my body needs in order to provide energy for me--especially B12 and magnesium. Even when I am eating well, my food is not enough for me. Supplementation has saved my physical and emotional life. When I have an abundance of B12 and magnesium, on a day-to-day basis I am a completely different person than when I am low.
Surrounding myself with others on the same journey. I am held and supported at a completely different level when I seek wisdom and companionship from other wonderful healers or fellow-travelers. For me, this means that I listen to and read a lot of material--videos, audios, blog posts. I get a great injection of peace and hope from seeing the examples of faith and courage of others. Nobody needs to be on their journey alone. We are supposed to helping each other out, and that shares our burdens and makes them lighter. From time to time I also get the opportunity to go to a gathering. I wish I could go more often, and I suggest to you to do something like that as often as you can. I always leave gatherings of like-minded and -hearted friends (new and old) in a freer, more fed state.
Cellular emotional work. When I decided to go to a massage therapist (which was also very helpful!), I found out that she was a little more than a massage therapist. She helped my body and cells release past trauma. I always left her clinic feeling like I was walking on clouds and it lasted for a few days.
Being here in my body. This has not been immediate, because I have had to gradually practice being able to do this, like a muscle. But as I have learned to stop trying to leave my body for the past and the future (which don't exist anyway) and to remain here and now, I feel much more secure. My life energy isn't draining off into who knows where. The energy remains with me keeping me thriving. I allow my emotions and thoughts to come and go through my body, but I don't grip them tight and let them harm me or own me or identify with me. I allow my body to release thoughts and emotions. That is very relieving.
Taking responsibility for my life. When I stopped placing the power for my life into others' hands whether in reality or in my own mind, I became free. I wasn't always comfortable, but it was a relief to know that I didn't have to be in anyone else's prison of me. I had the key and could just walk away. Of course, I still have to deal with my own prison that I provide for myself! But that's the journey I am on.
Breathing and walking. Every morning and sometimes at night, I go out to my porch to be with the sky and the nature that surrounds me. I love the air at that time and the bird songs, the rising sun or the stars at night. I do some conscious breathing. Most every day I also take a small walk down my lane and back. This walk is not really for physical exercise per se, but it is a time to be present in my body and release the negative energy build up of the day. There is really nothing like being in nature for me. Occasionally I take a trip out to the lake or the desert just to be with nature without any real plan. This is extremely rejuvenating for me.
So I hope as you take advantage of these same opportunities for you that you can also experience freedom and healing in a big way (and not just a small way).
