My life has been rather challenging.
I don't say that to put a spotlight on myself, but because I know you can probably identify.
As a child, I experienced my parents' divorce and my mother's remarriage. As an adult, I lived through (among other things) a painful marriage, depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-hatred, and addiction. My husband struggled with cancer and other unidentifiable medical and mental challenges. He passed away in 2005 which meant I was a young widow with six children. My childhood and most of my adult life was marked by poverty.
Those are just the highlights!
As a child, I was a dreamer. I still am! I had plans, hopes, talents. I had an idea of a life of beauty and creativity and fun and family and world service that I wanted to live. When I faced the difficulties of the reality of my adult life, I felt like my dreams had been stolen from me.
On the other hand, I can be pretty determined. Seeing my life in ashes around me, I decided that I was going to continue waking up each morning to a new day and keep walking forward as far as I could get for as long as I was still breathing. Of course, some days were better than others. Sometimes it was two steps forward, one step back.
I can look back now and see that I have experienced a breathtaking journey of healing. I have learned a lot about how the universe works and about how human beings work.
Today I experience peace. I still have a long way to go, a lot of dreams I intend to create. I am excited to experience them unfolding in my life.
I have a deep desire to share what I have learned with you so that you, too, may experience relief and peace during your challenges and have the ability to create the life you hope to live. The How to Move the Universe approach to healing is my way of sharing with you everything I have learned and that I practice in my own life.
My love and deep respect to you,
